I wasn't sure where to post this post but for those of you who are interested and for those of you who would like to hear this amazing coincidence... I thought I'd share this with you! :earsgirl:

DF and I got a really good deal on air tickets to Orlando out of Detroit (opposed to Buffalo, where we usually fly out) because it is only a 4 hour drive away. We'll be staying a nite in Detroit before we leave, because we didn't figure we could sit a whole Saturday without doing anything before going to Disney on Sunday. And, all of this worked out to be cheaper than leaving Buffalo.

Anyway, today I was looking into some things in the Detroit area and stumbled across this exhibit at the Henry Ford Museum that is all about "behind the scenes" at Disney. We could not believe our luck :wizard: and this crazy coincidence! This is the exhibit if anyone else is in the Detroit area and is interested: http://www.hfmgv.org/museum/disney/default.asp

At first, it appears to be only about Disneyland but also has stuff about Space Mountain, Jungle Cruise and the Haunted Mansion, etc. Just thought I'd let you all know!

Yep, it opened up I think a week before our trip the first of this month. They will have some imaginears speaking there too for a special day in November and some other people that sound really interesting.

Its 24 per adult to get in.

We're going the weekend of 11/11. We were at The Henry Ford in Aug and it is a really neat place. Try to check out some of the other areas if you can.
