OT - Disney cake toppers?

I have both my DD's birthdays coming up. One is having a Disney Fairy/Tinkerbell party, the other Ariel. I like to make my own cakes, but want to decorate them with toppers. I see at cakes.com (the company that supplies grocery stores with their cake decorations) that they sell those toppers, but will not ship internationally. I asked at Loblaws, and they said I couldn't purchase the decorations seperately.

Does anyone know where I could find these decorations from a Canadian supplier? I've searched on the web but can't find anything

Try a diff grocery store - I have a child with a nut allergy and they always let me purchase the cake toppers separate.

Try the bulk barn, they have a good supply of cake supplies.

The other option is Michael's. They don't have a huge supply but usually they carry whatever the "IN" thing is right now ( i.e. tinkerbell and maybe Little Mermaid).

Tried both -- nothing. They seem to have last year's "In" stuff -- Cinderella or SpongeBob. There's nothing at Party Packagers either.

I did see some pre-wrapped Winnie-the-Pooh iced cookies at Sobey's. Has anyone seen Ariel/Tink ones around? I thought I could place one on the cake.

None of my grocery stores will sell the toppers. I'll keep asking/begging BitsNBearsMom: Do you remember approx. how much they charged you for a set?

I had seen them on birthdayexpress (that's who it is on Amazon), and they will ship to Canada for $7 but they specifically say they will not be responsible for duties and customs. That worries me. I thought since these are the exact same toppers they use in our bakeries, there should be somewhere in Canada where you can purchase them and not pay the extra shipping, exchange rate, and duties.

I used to be "in the business" and my dad still is - he is a salesman for a bakery wholesale company. There are a couple of places I know who buy the toppers but not many who will sell to the public.
