OT-DH hates my long winded reply

DH & I often look at the boards together at nite to unwind. When it comes to the typing, I am faster. However, I enjoy elaborating when it comes to replies so it takes me longer to respond. I also like to spell-check and reread what I type as well (occupational hazard.) DH could care less and feels like I say too much. He likes to just get to the point and move on to the next post even if things are spelled wrong. Anyone have this problem? I say women are just very detail oriented!

I, for one, appreciate posts with correct spelling and grammar! If I can't see the point of the post through all of the typos and misspelled words, I usually give up on reading it. I majored in PR and used to write press releases for a living. I never send anything out without proofing it first!

I tend to skip over long posts, so I always try to keep mine relatively short and to the point. Then I tend to spend the next 5-10 minutes editing my posts to add or re-words things.
