OT - Coupon Codes Thread

I know I'd love to see a coupon/codes thread here at the Dis. That's the only thing I think these boards are missing.

What does everyone else think?

I'm all for it!!! I see stuff on other boards all the time and would love to share it....and see it here. People here are so much more friendly.

Well, I have already cleared it with a Webmaster, so starting it is no problem...I would assume just to start a Coupon Codes thread and begin there...If it gets enough responses, we can just stick it to the top...

I am open to any ideas you might have...I also think listing Freebees would be good too..there are so many great freebees out there, that actually come! LOL

By the way, I know they sometimes list Coupon codes on the Budget board, but I don't always have time to visit that board, so I think starting a thread on here with codes is an excellent idea...

Let me know what you all think...this is your board, afterall!!

I organized the threads for the DA Boards (ok, I won't get started on that subject!) and wouldn't mind doing the same thing here. If we stick it at the top, I'd be glad to organize it by store/merchant names. We could have a seperate thread for "freebies". What do you think?

Denise, if you want to start the threads, I can stick them to the top of the board...That would be the best way, I think... Let me know if you need any help or whatever with it...I think this is a great idea!!

Everyone knows that Mary Waring's site Mousesavers is the best organized site to date, how could all her info be posted on the boards? The only advantage would be individual postcard deals mailed to people, and even those are restricted to geographic areas.
