OT - Cleaning granite countertops??

My granite supplier suggested cleaning as follows:

Add a small amount of Isopropyl Alcohol and a couple drops of soap to a spray bottle of water.

My experience has been that it cleans without damage. It's also obviously inexpensive! I do use the Target Method brand sometimes as well because it contains a polish.

I also have Silestone countertops. We have been in this house 2 years and have had no scratches or staining. I wash mine down with a wet rag and use corox wipes or windex if I want a deep cleaning. I love the Silestone counters, they are very low maintenance.
