Trying not to gross anyone out - Last weekend my son got sick in the back seat of our van and threw up all over the seat. We have scrubbed it with soap and water, sprayed it with Febreze, sprinkled it with baking soda which we then vaccuumed out and left the car doors and windows open for long periods of time. You can still smell it when you get in the car. If you rub the seat the smell is still very strong on your hand/towel also. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Do you have a carpet cleaner with a hand attachment? If not, maybe you can borrow one from a friend. I'm not sure if the ones you can rent at the grocery store have a hand attachment or not.

We were in the same boat 2 weeks ago! My daughter got sick in the back seat...I tried everything - it was pretty bad (It doesn't help that my seats show any sort of stain including water). So I finally just broke down and took the car to the dealer. They did an awesome job of cleaning it and I feel sure it's done!

There is some stuff you can get at a pet store, pet smart , petco, even the pet section at walmart, its called Out odor remover..........its an enzyme thing, you have to soak the area and let it dry............it works really well.
they may have a different version at petco, pet smart, but it was called Out at walmart........
good luck,
my ds had a pee accident in the backseat on the floor and i had to get that odor out! whew!
