Okay we're looking at the Stepping Stones museum in Norwalk, CT and the Children's museum in Providence, RI.. Any thoughts, opinions??

We need something to use up a couple hours between Stamford, CT and Plymouth, MA.

We can get into either of them free. :yay:

Their websites make them sound similar, so is one better than the other? :confused3

Yes, we're going to Boston kids museum too. My kids like museums, and free makes it even better right? :)

We're traveling on a Sunday morning/afternoon, mid April.

I voted for Providence, but only because I have not been to the Norwalk museum. How old are your kids? The Providence museum is aimed at preschoolers. It's rather small, which is nice for younger kids. My boys are 2 and 4 and they love the Providence museum. However, last summer we brought their 7 year old cousin and she was bored to tears. Also, there are not many restaurants handy (w/in walking distance), so plan to pack a lunch or go well before or after a meal.

You'll LOVE the Boston museum. We were just there last week and it is so much fun for the kids. They have this new climbing structure right as you walk in. It looks a little scary from a mom's point of view, but even my 2-year old loved it!

Have a great time!

Another vote for Providence, my kids love it!

We enoyed the Providence one. They have a fun water works room :)
