The council in their road ploughing managed to plough the road but push all the extra snow to the side making a huge pile in front of the gate!!

We have snow forecast for this evening and through the night and a severe weather warning out for the roads. Plus more snow is forcast for Wed and Thurs. We has less snow than this for the 3 years we lived high up on the Yorkshire Moores!!

Oh dear, that's not good!
All we have here is rain, we never really get much snow due to being so close to the sea.

That's not very clever of the council folks Speaking of councils, I'm very impressed with ours (for a change lol). Obviously rubbish collections last week were all messed up. Think normal service resumed on Thursday - ours is usually collected on Fridays but they didn't turn up as expected due to the huge backlog I imagine. They actually came round yesterday to collect our rubbish. Many of my neighbours brought their bins back in on Friday evening... then yesterday afternoon, you could hear lots of 'thundery rumbling' noises when everyone rushed to get their bins back out when they saw the truck lol.

Surprisingly our bins haven't been collected today. We usually have 2 rounds, the 1st for recycling which comes at 7am then the regular bin later. Our council are usually really good, but I get the feeling they have run out of grit. On my drive to work this morning none of the roads had been done, I drove at 10mph! Then halfway there I got a text to say school was shut. I'm glad I decided to pull over to read the text as I wouldn't have been impressed if I made it to school and then read the text to find we were shut!!
I really hope we will be open tomorrow. The head, caretaker and the blokes from the building site are clearing all the snow now so unless the weather is really bad tomorrow we should be back in.

Has anyone tried them new flavours of Walkers yet?
I have just tried some of the fish and chip ones. Yuk, didn't like them at all.
I don't know why but i thought they might have been a bit like them Burtons fish and chip crisps from years ago. Does anyone else remember them?

I've seen them advertised on the back of the multipacks. For some reason, they just do not appeal to me at all !! Do they sell them in individual packets? Don't really want to buy a huge pack only to find that I do not like them lol.

I havent seen them in individual packs. I brought the fish and chip and my friend brought the cajun squirrel then we swaped a couple of bags.
Can't bring myself to try the squirrel ones yet, i'm just put off by the word "squirrel" stupid isn't it!

My Dad always seems to buy them crisps whenever i go to my mums. There is a roast dinner flavour aswell

This whole conversation reminds me of an ice cream bar we used to visit in Carnac in Brittany when I was a kid..... They had hundreds of ice cream flavours.... Including Marshmallow, After Eight, Carrot, English Breakfast.... My Dad had curry flavour once.... It was absolutely disgusting!

I have seen that place but not had anything from it yet....

We have one of them where i live, it's called the milkshake bar (very original) they put anything it and have all the American sweets and cereals which you can have as well.
My Daughter loves the Oreo one.
