A few seasons ago we worked out that if the matches only lasted 85 minutes we'd have been top of the table

16 games, no chance of winning the Elite league, but in the semi-final of one cup and winning 4 - 0 on aggregate in the Knockout Cup first leg, all is not lost. It's just frustrating that with 8 minutes to go, we are winning 2 - 0 and BAM - suddenly it's 2 - 3, we pull the netminder with a minute to go to give us an extra player outfield and it's 2 - 4. They just can't seem to hold onto a lead at the moment. They lost 2 - 3 last night to the same blasted team! (Nottingham Panthers).

Its definately the Spurs of the ice hockey world We're doing poor in the league but in the final of one cup, albeit very fortunate & also still in the UEFA cup.

It is, i'm hoping we play like we did against Chelsea in last years final but I doubt we will. I really hope Spurs re sign Robbie Keane, he is wasted at Liverpool but having said that part of me thinks he wanted the move he should put up with it.

Hello, good evening everyone!! Has everyone gone to bed yet? lol. It's been snowing since about 6 or 6.30ish and it's still going strong. Don't think I've ever seen this much snow before in the past 9 yrs (where we are now) - it's not "thick" thick but it's still a lovely blanket of snow. I have a feeling school will be closed tomorrow - I remember last year, we had a snowy night/morning and when I got to school, they sent us away saying that if we can, can we take them home but for those who can't, then they'll keep them in school but there won't be any lessons happening on that day as not many teachers were able to get in. Luckily, we're only a 4-minute walk away lol and the kids had a fun time playing in the snow. Will phone them up before we actually have to leave the house.

Hope you've all had a nice weekend?! I've eaten too much - as usual. We had my bro & family round for dinner yesterday (for Chinese New Year). Hubby cooked and we had steamed chicken, spare ribs (LOADS! lol), prawns, crispy pork, wonton soup and rice. Everything was home made except the crispy pork which we bought from the restaurant. Then we had Chinese cakes/buns for dessert (bought from Chinese bakery). Was stuffed last night and was stuffed again today as we had plenty of leftovers. Diet begins tomorrow ...

Ahh hope your cold won't be too bad. I've just about recovered from mine - there's still a little something that's niggling behind there somewhere. The kids have runny/blocked noses though but I'm sure that won't stop them from playing in the snow tomorrow either (well, put it this way, I won't be able to stop them lol).
