Hi, I am back from handing in my essay, I am soooo tired, I have been up till almost 2am the past few days doing uni work and having to get up at 7am. I have so much to do today, still need to pack, get DD from school club, cook dinner, give DD a bath, haven't even got passports out yet, I am usually ready days before we go.

I'm sure you'll manage to get everything done !! The wonders of doing things last minute ... speaking from experience here lol .

I guess I have two more days to pack!

I'm trying not to let work interfere with my planning, however I have a feeling that this trip is going to go wrong anyway.

Why do you think it'll go wrong?

I've been looking into flights for our trip, and flying with delta with a 3 days stop in NYC is cheaper than going direct with virgin, so we may enjoy some time in New York before heading down to WDW.

My only issue is we will be flying out of the UK and into NY on Sept 11. WOuld this worry you?

I flew on 9/11 last year, but only to spain, and I didn't even consider it, but as it's new york, it seems a little odd.

Theoretically though it could be an extra safe day to fly?

Just because I'm staying off-site in a Hotel that I've never been to and I'm taking a woman who is giving birth in 19 days

Plus it's the first time I've been tod DLRP for ages where I haven't had a car!!

Security would be extra high, and I always think if you change your plans because of the date you are letting them accomplish what they wanted to do in the first place...... thats a very serious view for the DIS!

It wouldn't worry me, I have been in the USA the past two years on 9/11 and from exprience, the Americans try to get on with their lifes - the USA doesn't come to a standstill on that day.

We love travelling or being on holiday over September 11th, we always find it a really empty time to travel!!

i just realised today that i've missed my chance of having a summer conservation education internship at animal kingdom you have to have another term at uni after the internship and seeing as i finish my course in june and graduate in september i can't do it

Whoo hoo my flights to Florida have gone up £260.00 since I bought them two weeks ago! I love it when you get a bargain!

i had a minor panic attack when i went to book my flights to florida at the weekend and they'd gone up by over £100 each, luckily we found them on expedia at the cheaper price phew!

lol, its just a shame coz that would have been the opportunity to get experience which i desperately need! as my housemate said, a combination of animals and disney is the perfect job for me
