OT - Chat Chat and More Chat

We had a fabulous meal at PH, huge portions, nice food, reasonable prices and excellent service, waiter was concerned that I didn't eat all my fahitas, but to be honest there were enough of them on the tray to feed the whole family. We were seated downstairs and it didn't feel squashed at all, but I didn't like being hassled by the photographer, they insist on taking photos even if you don't want them and I'm such a sucker I bought them, I felt obliged to really and for that reason only I wouldn't go back.

Hi all. Am back from Ikea. I now have a brand new comfy computer chair.. and also a shiny car lol. Well, my poor car hasn't had a bath for months (and it's black as well, so you can imagine the state it was in, esp with the snow etc that we had earlier on this year), so I decided to go to one of those hand carwash places. It's fab - I just sat in the car, 3 people 'soaped' the car and 5 people dried the car. And it was only £7. For someone who hardly washes the car, I think it was well worth the money and it was all done in 10 mins and I didn't have to clear anything up after lol.

Love the talk of names! I love the name Elias, Cap'n! Have come across an Armani (girl) and Victory (boy) before.

On the subject of names an American I worked with once was called Randy Bumfinder.

I'm another one who votes against Planet Hollywood. Food distinctly average but prices not, you're so squeezed in (upstairs) if they're busy that you can't actually get out to go to the loo without other diners

I haven't been to the one in DLRP but I've been twice to the one in London (not my choice but we met friends there) and I've told myself I'll never ever go to another one again if it was my choice. Completely put me off. It's just service was quite slow and the food wasn't worth waiting for at all. Sounds like it's the same everywhere then lol.

Sounds like Planet hollywood might be a bit better if you sit downstairs.....but I'm still never going back. And I almost had an arguement with the photographer who insisted on taking photos. I also insisted I didn't want a photo taken of me so she just took one of the children. Wasn't even a good photo when they brought it to the table.

thats awful i hate having my picture taken so it would have been an argument if someone was coming round my table. that alone has put me off. i would get really annoyed.

The guy came over to us to take our picture... I said 'No!' about three times and he wouldn't go away... We just ignored him and he went away eventually....

Hello everyone

I staggered into work this morning but gave up at 11.30 when I was virtually ordered home. I feel absolutely rotten and my nose is so sore with sneezing. Im feeling really sorry for myself. I got home and came right to bed and fell asleep.
Im just having a quick look on here and then might try and have another sleep.
