I'm still hanging in there. I have to, whether I want to or not. Some money is better then none, but when the questions were coming fast and furious up until just a few days ago, it's hard to sit here now and wait for 3 or 4 minutes in between.

Those 3 minutes seem to drag on forever. It's like torture.

it certainly is! i've been spoiled by b2b queries and now that they're trickling in, i don't know what to do with myself! did you see the blog post about the code fix? hopefully we'll be b2b again in 2-3 days! it doesn't specifically address the traffic issues, but at least it's an update.

Sorry but I am really frustrated tonight! When and if I get a question it's always a really hard one or the only source I can find is from a blacklisted site or they're complaining about the answer the previous guide gave them.

I know we're supposed to get the customer closer to the answer than they were but how long do you search? Honestly? I just spent 12+ minutes on my last question and there was not a reputable source to site from.

My choices were to risk a QC for siting a blacklisted site or get them closer but not fully answer the question and risk a QC. What do you do?

In the end it didn't matter because I ended up not getting paid for it because the browser shut down. 12+ minutes of searching and nothing! And my completion percentage takes a hit.

And you only get 160 characters to apologize for the previous guides bad answer and give them the right one.

Oh, crappy. My very first official question on ChaCha was like that. I was so nervous that I would get the boot.

I hope that things get better for you tonight. ChaCha is fun...but can be a pain sometimes.

I've taken answers off of black listed sites when I know they are right. I just copy and paste them, but then I find something else close or similiar to list as the site. Maybe that's not exactly allowed, but it gives them their answer and doesn't keep them waiting.

Sometimes it's hard to know what to do. I've gotten a few that have stumped me. One was for some product for a motorcycle and I coudn't find what they wanted exactly, so I just gave them the product maker's phone number and told them they could call for more info.
It might not have been the answer but it was something and it got them closer then they had been.

I do hate the 160 character limit sometimes. The whole thing can be very frustrating at times, that's for sure.

I was one-click away from clicking the "Bad" button tonight. A guide answered a question that was:

A: just a one word anwer, no details, no repeating the question, no magic, no ChaCha ending

B: wrong

They asked up a follow-up question and the answer to the first was in the site I used and it was way off from what they had given.

I probably should have since we are paid to give quality answers but I felt like I'd be a tattle tale if I did.

Once again, I am up in the middle of the night for no reason! And once again, no questions on ChaCha! Usually get b2b questions in the middle of the night. Questions are coming every 5 minutes or so. Not even worth it! Rather catch up on the DISboards!

I am going to be able to cash out this month on the 15th. When I cursor over the question mark thing under where it shows how much I earned it says I have to be verified by the 15th. Um, how do I know if I am verified. I signed up for the Pay by Month a while back...I am not sure if I am supposed to do anything else.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hmmm, I'm not sure what verified means either. I signed up for the monthly deposit too and it worked fine the first time. (I've only had it deposited once)
As long as you followed all their online instructions, it should be ok.
