OT - Canadian Idol

Yeaaah.
Pretty much not Disney related.
But I'm watching it right now, and I can seriously say I'm dissapointed at the Top 2. I was hoping for Brandon & Chad.
IMHO Craig can't sing, and was probably only voted because of where he's from (no offense if you voted to him for other reasons.)

I agree with your comments about Craig. He really shouldn't have made it into the top 10. Now it's about having dedicated voters.

I disagree about Eva. I enjoyed her performances and she has always been one of my picks to win from the beginning. What amazed me most was that her rendition of the "idol song" was quite listenable. After the way everyone gushed over her it will be pretty embarassing if she doesn't win. She is obviously going to go farther as she is definitely a more versitile performer than Craig.

Eva was in my top picks, however it was more because of my great dislike for Steffi & another. Eva is a good singer during most songs, but I didn't really enjoy how either of them sang their songs last night, other than when she sang Wild Horses.

Chad reminded me a lot of Jacob Hoggard, but on a much more tame level. He had a very nice voice. Brandon was from a nearby town, and I really liked his singing as well. I didn't see either of them winning, but I would have liked to see them get farther.

I have watched all the CI shows and each year I am always surprised, but we are talking about alot of differing opinions and last be honest, geographics. You always want someone from your town to win. I think Eva is an amazing singer, I think Craig is a great singer too but lacks stage presence (he is only 16 after all). Brandon, who was also young, needs alot of work IMHO, I didn't think he was a great singer. I too thought Chad was great and wished he was in the final two. I didn't think Craig was going to be voted thru tho, I was surprised Tyler was voted off. I am assuming Eva will win but anything is possible.

HUGE IDOL FAN!!! Any of the 32 editions worldwide, I'm there.

I personally thought CI4 was a bleh season, at least compared to CI3.

My choice is Eva.

I think the Idol single sounds really bad. Alive was so much better.

We were rooting for Katie Durst as she is from our home town :. But I really enjoy Eva and I thought that Chad has an awesome voice.I was extremely surprized when Keith did not make it, I loved his voice!!

CI3 of course, was my favorite season. ^___^ I enjoyed listening to Rex, who was my favorite the whole way through. The fact that I've met him makes me think of him fondly.

I don't really find that Craig is a bad singer, I just cringe at the sound of his voice. Close my eyes, forget his name and I envision a girl. It's just what he sounds like. A high pitched girl.

I know Tyler wasn't very good at singing, though I figured he had made it that far, he would stay. I knew that little girls would find the fact that he was straightening his hair almost every episode very appealing. It's really sad when people are voting based on looks.
