Have any of you camped at GCNP? I heard you will not have any hookups and cannot bring a rig over 30 feet long. Are there any other campgrounds nearby that are nice? Or have you found a spot within the park that has hook ups and allow big rigs (40 ft). TIA! Christy

There are two camp grounds at the Grand Canyon.Mather Campground is primitive sites. Hookups for trailers are available at Trailer Village which is located next to Mather Campground. Trailer sites are $18 per night for two people, with an additional charge of $1.75 for each extra person. Campers may register at the entrance to Trailer Village. Office hours: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. For reservations call 303-297-2757. I believe Trailer Village is also operated by the National Park Service or its contractor. There are additional private campgrounds available in the area.
