My little girl is quite enjoying learning all the Christmas songs this year. She's two and a half and so this is really the first year that she's understanding any of this stuff. We often hear her singing Frosty or Rudolf or Away in a Manger.
Today she was singing her own version of Jingle Bell Rock

How adorable! :teeth:

As the mother of an almost 25 year old & 14 yr old, let me make a suggestion. Find a way to record her singing that! I have an old cassette of DS singing "Blue Moon" and the theme from Batman when he was about that age. Priceless!

Of course what he's singing is "Blue Moon, neh neh neh neh-neh Blue Moon" and "De-de de-de de-de de-de Batman!" but it's as cute as all get-out! :teeth:

Very cute! Yesterday, while I waited to pick up a prescription, I saw a little boy of about 5 waiting for his mom. He was sitting in a chair and really looked like he didn't feel well. He kept wiping his poor little nose. It didn't matter if he felt bad, he couldn't keep from singing. They were playing Jingle Bell Rock over the store speakers and he was singing away. He knew all the words. The little ones are so precious. Too bad we can't keep them small!

Great stories! I like the idea of recording: a great way to embarass them when they are older!

My three year old is into making up her own songs. After reading her a book about bats, she was singing "echolocation: yeah yeah yeah" all around the house today.

They are so precious at this age!
