My first christmas present, got her at 9.02am just after the 9.00am release. isn't she gorgeous ?

Would love to have the whole set, but as I really only collect Maleficent items, I'm happy with her plus have just put in a Christmas request list for the rest of the new Villains items that have gone on sale this morning.

She will have pride of place, beautiful isn't she

She's the first release from the new Villains collection, released worldwide instore yesterday, but none of the stores in South West of the UK were given any stocks, as I found out yesterday when I rang my 2 nearest stores, so everything stopped in work this morning at 9.00 am when the online store released them.

I think they're beautiful, I know Disney have come if for a bit of stick for setting a bad example by making Ursula and Queen of Hearts skinny, but at £50 a doll, they're not made for children to play with, they're collectors items, personally I think the media overplayed it.

and check out the new Villains items, I love the Tshirt, totebag, makeup and the purse, in fact everything (my niece has already bought me the shopping bag!).

Wow she is fantastic. Would love to see the shrine too!

Wouldn't mind Mother Gothel myself. I think she is one of the funniest characters Disney has made. We do the whole Love you, love you more, I love you most thing before bed and DS always shouts Evil mudder sez dat (he has loads of pigeon english as his speech was slow and his pronunciation is so cute, he sounds half Irish, half Jamican!).

I too loved these when I got the pre release email a while back. You could buy all of them for £300!

They are gorgeous. Maleficent was one of my faves. I love Alice in Wonderland but really wasn't keen on the Queen (although I can see why they have modelled her as they have). I also wasn't sure about Mother Gothel but then they aren't going to appeal to everyone .

None for me though I'm afraid - no where to put them, DH wouldn't allow a Disney 'shrine' in our house! Although I have managed the odd Disney touch around the place .

Jill - I too would LOVE to see your collection. Maleficent is something special .

PS - Have put a few bits of the new merchandise on my Christmas list. Anyone know if they are available in store? (they had nothing last weekend at our local store but then I don't think they had been released then). It's a real shame that they don't offer online shareholder discount as a lot of the really nice stuff is online only!

My daughter is 15 and Rapunzel is her favourite Disney movie. I am a single mum so its just me and my two teens and as such we are really really close. My daughter & I use the Mother Gothel quote all the time too. Also if I ever have to pull rank I burst into song "Mother Knows Best".:rotfl2

Carrie - I was in our local DS today and they had a lot of the Villains merchandise in (wasn't there last weekend). I had to buy my own Christmas presents from the range for DH to give me, as I have the shareholders card and apparently the stuff is flying out, so I didn't want to wait and miss out!

So, with a bit of luck you might find the merchandise in the new WOD in the next week or so maybe? Can tell you the nail varnishes look amazing (and the CMs told me that they have them and they are so glossy and thick that you don't even need a second coat!). I didn't get them as the makeup bag, pjs and sweatshirt had already fallen into my basket .

Saw Maleficent in the flesh - she is gorgeous, so tempted but I don't have anywhere to put her. She is more like a figurine than a doll - just beautiful and such detail .
