OT- Beauty and the Beast

On the Princess and the Frog Dvd , there is a coming attraction for Beauty and the Beast on DVD, but NO release date just a 'Coming Soon' any ideas when this is coming?

Don't hold me to this, but I believe I read somewhere that it's being rereleased in theaters in a 3-D format, and that the DVD release was going to coincide, I think this fall.

Was scheduled to be released in theatres 2/15/2010 (saw this on a Disney site) and that didn't happen. I read here on the DIS that the release to theatres and later DVD was perhaps pushed back to 2011 to coincide with the 20 year anniversary of the first release.

My 4 year old grand daughter was so disappointed; Beauty and the Beast is the only Princess movie she doesn't have on DVD or VHS.

we have it on DVD an old DVD..... and it get watched almost EVERY night. It would be great to have it on blue ray my 2yrold DD would cry if Belle wasn't there to be watched at bed time.

Yeah! This made my day! B&TB is my all time favorite Disney movie. A 3-D rerelease would be awesome too, but I will just settle for a DVD. I have an old VHS, but we don't even have a VCR hooked to the TV anymore!

Its my favorite movie. Can't wait for the DVD release and to see it in 3D. Saw the IMAX version when it came out and hope they don't change too much for 3D.
