OT: Ball pit suggestions

I've been browsing the Internet for a ball pit for the kids. But, I can't seem to find one that I think is big enough, but not too big, and would actually keep most of the balls in the pit.

So, I'm wondering if anyone has ever created a makeshift ball pit somehow? I'd also be interested in hearing any reviews of ball pits anyone has purchased.

What about an inflatable pool? This way you can put it away when the kids lose interest.

We use a pop-up play tent, but the balls do get all over the backyard any way. We store the balls in nylon mesh drawstring bags and fold up the tent when they aren't using it.
