Crickey I had enough trouble picking out the names for my own kids I can't do any more
I will say though we thought we had our first sons name all picked out he was suppose to be James Henry, he was born took one look at him and said he doesn't look anything like a James and we had to spend the next 3 days picking a name for him that suited him. So you may find the one you pick just isn't the right one for him,
We were totally stuck on a boy's name for ds(2yo). Had the girl's name picked out about 1wk after dd was born (she's 6.5yo)..but couldn't figure out a boy's name we liked to save ourselves.
I ended up going through THREE baby name books, wrote down every name I didn't find offensive (or knew some devil child by the same name). Then gave the lists to dh. He crossed off anything he found an objection to.
I took the subsequent list, typed it up and put it on the fridge. As our pregnancy went by we would cross names off, discuss the ones that we liked and put it back on the fridge to revisit it a few weeks later.
With about 2mo left we finally figured out a name, Benjamin Tyler.
Good Luck! I've always liked Andrew (Drew for short) and Alexander...they just didn't work w/ our family name.
In our family you have to pick a name that noone else has used. Trust me it is not as easy as it sounds. My DM was one of 11 and they each had 4 or more. My the time it came to me 2 boys it was really hard.
