OT - applying for passport

I'm getting all our info ready and filling out our passport applications - am I going to need my marriage certificate???? Or just Birth Certificate & license?

I've been married for almost 10 years and I brought mine, but she said she didn't need to see it because I'd been married for a while. So if you're newly married you may want to bring it.

They didn't ask to see mine (I'm glad because I have no idea where it is). I have been married for over 17 years so maybe that is why they didn't ask.

I'm pretty sure if your driver's license is in your married name you won't need the certificate.

Thanks everyone! We've been married for twenty years, so I guess I won't worry about it - not sure where it is right now anyhow!
