According to Hasbro, they are only conducting a "Test Market" for the cute little critter!
I asked her then, why have a commercial, especially before Christmas!
She just said she would mark down my complaint!LOL

Janet - thanks for your response! I also agree that its pretty rotten to have a commercial for all to see but its only being sold in test market! I'll have to deflect his attention elsewhere...wonder if he'd understand that Santa only makes product for test markets?!!
I was looking for one for my daughter as well and could not find them. Then I came across a whole skid of them sitting in the middle of the aisle in the WalMart in St. Thomas, Ontario - $39.99.

VICTORY! I found the Cuddle Chimp...only one on the shelf at WalMart in Richmond Hill. I saw the box on the bottom shelf and just zeroed in and I think I jumped in front of two ladies who were just standing in the section chatting 
When I got home my husband said, "are you sure you want to give it to him....they are going for over $100 on ebay!!" Oh they things we do for our kids!

Plus I bought one off of Ebay as a joke for DD!
She's always wanted a Brother or Sister!
The people I bought from were willing to ship directly to the GC!
So our New Addition to our Family will be waiting for us when we arrive!

It's gotten amazing reviews. Now, of course, I will never find one! And things were going so smoothly this Christmas. I think I will head out to the Etobicoke Walmart and Milton Walmart and Winston Churchill Walmart sometime today. Thank goodness the snow has stopped!

Wow - they must be shipping these to obscure, random places. I was talking to another mother at the skating rink today about the Chimp and she said she saw them at the Richmond Hill Wal-mart a couple of weeks ago and I told her that's where I found the single one left last week. It's like they ship a pallet of these to a couple of stores and let the fun begin! Damo - glad you found yours! Enjoy
