OT: Anyone drive from Ontario to Winnipeg?

Which way did you go? Did you take the ferry across Lake Michigan?
We are planning a trip and were wondering if anyone had done this too

While not from ONT i have driven twice from NB once crossing at Sault Ste Marie and following rte 28 to rte 2 then north on I29 right in to winnipeg and have allso taken the tch 17 through northern ont and would perfer the first rte

We drove from Winnipeg to Ontario when my fiance was moving here. Can't remember highways right now but we drove thru Northern Michigan and had a planned stopover in Mackinaw City....its incredible there. Was actually a beautiful drive.

We drove from London to Pt. Huron and then north to the Soo,with a stop at Mackinaw,great place. Then along the upper mich highway
