OT - Any Fellow Lap Banders ?

Hey Gang ,

I already know that you all love Disney and the Disunplugged podcast
I was just looking to see if anyone else out there has had the Lap Band surgery like me ?

I was banded on June 26 , 2008 and have lost over 100 pounds thanks to the surgery

Looking forward to "meeting" any fellow Banders

wow melissa that is great!! i have not had that done, but my brother did about a year ago, he has lost 75 pounds. i know that even with the lap band, it still takes alot of work to lose that kind of weight, so way to go girl!! do you have any before and after pics to share?

Check the WISH section of the board...in the journal section, there's somebody maybe named Razor? who just got it...maybe you can PM with them and compare notes...

Hi!

I usually lurk over in the Code/Rate and Trip Report board but I happened to wander over here today and saw your post.

I had the Lapband surgery November 2008 and have lost 105 lbs to date. Getting ready for my first post-surgery Disney trip in April. It's a little confusing, to dining plan or not...Still up for debate in my house as my Princess wants to go to 4 character meals including CRT.

Congratulations and I was just about to point you to the WISH boards myself. If you post the same question there you may find some others also. I imagine there may be some folks in the Biggest Loser threads that have had it. That is just a guess though.

I've thought about it but just can't bring myself to do it... I'm working on losing weight now and being fairly successful... of course the problem is getting off track and not getting back on the horse...

I've thought about it but just can't bring myself to do it... I'm working on losing weight now and being fairly successful... of course the problem is getting off track and not getting back on the horse...
