My thoughts and prayers are with you!! I just wanted to share my story with you. I was going through the same thing last year! went on for 3 weeks finally I lost my vision in one eye thats when I freaked! went through all kinds of test eeg mri ect saw a bunch of docs everything was fine! my diagnoses was occular miagraines which we think was caused by my poor sleeping habits! (i work overnight at a sleeplab go figure!) so I started taking ibuprofen 800 mg (many other meds made me very sleepy) and I cut down to 3 nights from 4. I have not had any issues since. My doc had me initially thinking my symptoms could have been more serious like ms or epilepsy thank God it wasnt! I hope this turns out to be something minor! Good luck!

I hope all goes well for you Simon. The waiting periods are always the worst. The longer you wait, the worse you think it is. Try to get out this weekend and do something to take your mind off things. Maybe it'll be sunny with some early signs of spring. Please keep in touch with us all.

Just a quick update...

I went to the neurologist today and he ruled out the possibilities of tumors and caffeine related headaches. He is concerned, however, and recommended a CT scan because he thinks it is more serious than just a migraine. Migraines should not last for six weeks.

I will get the CT scan done next Wednesday, so keep your fingers crossed for me.
