OT -- Aaack! I had bugs and worms all over the place!

Yuck! How creepy, not to mention feeling violated.

I have Norton's for virus protection, adaware for bugs & spies, plus I have a firewall and I still got 3 gremlins somehow. I've spent hours trying to understand how to get rid of all the creepies but I think I may have done it. Kinda makes me leary of even using my computer now

Sorry to hear that Belle. The people who create these are such a pain in the butt! Knock on wood, I haven't gotten any yet. How did you figure out you got them? Did they show up through Norton?

That's exactly how I found I had them -- through Norton's. I haven't been online much so I mistakenly figured I was okay. Thursday, I think, I ran Norton's just on the off chance maybe there was something there. Bingo! I have Norton's set to run every morning at 9am but I went a couple of days without even turning on my computer ... major withdrawal pains.

Moral of the story ... keep your virus protection updated and run it often!
