OT--_Any Thoughts on Disney Movie Rewards

I signed up and was suprised to see you collect 100 points per movie. We had 300 since April 07

When I bought Tinkerbell this weekend and went to add my 100 points, I see my 300 points have EXPIRED.

Now you can only get a sheet of stickers with 300 points, but really, is this good for Disney to make you enter "Magic codes" and not collect enough to get anything.??

How many movies would you have to buy to get 22000 points to get a trip to disney? Especially since my kids are older and we bought almost all the movies before this program started.

I see you can earn points by seeing the movies. If you register and then MAIL IN YOUR TICKET STUBS they will give you points.

Could they make it more user unfriendly?

Maybe I am missing something.

We signed up for this recently also. How long before the points expire? You would never accumulate enough in time for the big ticket items

Well we only had 2 movies from April 07 and one from Sept 07

so maybe a year?

How many movies can you buy/see in a year?

According to the DMR FAQ:
Will my points expire?
You can collect Disney Movie Rewards points through January 31, 2010 and redeem them through February 28, 2010. For more information, please see the Terms & Conditions.

Beechnut, have you tried sending a message to DMR Customer Service, and asking them to explain why your points expired? Hopefully you can have them reinstated

If you don't go on the site for awhile they send you an email to warn you that your points will expire and you need to log on to the site.
