OT--3 car seats

My sister did three across in her Subura wagon. I remember it killing my knuckles to get the belts clipped.

For those of you have (or knows someone who does) 3 car seats in a single row, how do you do it? Which seats do you use? How are they configured?

We're trying to fit 2 car seats (full size, forward facing) and a backless booster in DHs car for when it's needed in a pinch, and can't seem to come out with seats/arrangement that will make it work. It has to be possible; others must do it.

Please share your wisdom!! TIA

We have a Ford Windstar & 3 carseats fit across the back with no problems. We have also fit 3 carseats in my dh's Ford Taurus & my mom's PT Cruiser.

Try the 2 convertibles at each door and the booster in the center!

The center is the safest but with more than one kid someone has to be at a door. At least the booster with no side protection will be in the center.
