We are celebrating our 20th anniversary this October and need some ideas besides WDW to help me plan a great vacation. All help would be greatly appreciated. Where would you go and what would you do for a great celebration?

We just celebrated 18 years in December. My dream for our twentieth would be 1) go WITHOUT kids and 2) do what WE want to do!!! Not sure where we would stay, but we would have a spa treatment, eat where we want to eat. relax a LOT, enjoy the shows and parades with no one complaining, and basically get to talk to each other without being interrupted! As a specific, if you have not seen Cirque I highly recommend it! It is encredible!!

Yes ,I agree Cirque Solei is wonderful! I am still having a very hard time deciding what to do or where to go for our 20th.

Have you ever been on a cruise? We've been on numerous cruise lines, and Disney's Castaway Cay, their private island, is a wonderful get away, (think having a massage in a cabana on the beach). They go there on even their 3 night cruises, and if my 60th birthday wasn't in January, that's how I would celebrate, with a 3 night Disney cruise. (January's weather is too iffy for the Bahamas, but I think that October should be fine.)

My last anniversary with my late husband was our 20th and we spent a wonderful 2 weeks or so at WDW and on the Disney Cruise. We planned it so we were on the ship for the actual date and were given a beautiful disney cake with chocolate adornment in celebration of our anniversary.

We surround the cruise dates with WDW time before and after, which really made the trip seem extra long. I would highly recommend it. Congratulations!
