Oscars question... why are they playing music during the speech?

Nope, not that. They are playing the music right from the beginning. I thought it was maybe a mistake but they just did it again. It's so annoying!!!!

I think the music is incredibly annoying also. Dolly is REALLY thin right now. I have to think she lipo'ed herself as thin as she is now, Lord knows she has had plenty of plastic surgery. Matt Dillon is absolutely DELICIOUS!!!

I hope George Clooney,Russell Crowe and Matt Dillon never have any sort of surgery and ruin their faces. I thought the amount of botox on Ben Stillers face was freaky. I love to watch who is able to move their eyebrows and who isn't. Its just not normal for a face not to move.

They are playing it from the beginning of their speech. It's really, really annoying. It's not the "let's wrap up" music... it's from the moment they are given the statue.

I HATE that music is being played from the beginning of and during EVERY acceptance speech. I noticed that NOTHING is being played during the presenters' neverending schtick! I guess the idea is to have the winners cut their speechifying short, but sure do wish that Jon Stewart would just look into the orchestra pit and tell them to stop playing ALL THE TIME.

Sheesh, and could someone *please* get some decent writing done for these poor presenters? Couldn't Jay Leno's and David Letterman's writers have done some slumming?

I liked Jon Stewart tonight, but can't STAND that dumb music, so I'm actually not going to watch the rest of the show.

About the outfits that I did see...
What was with that outfit that Naomi Watts was wearing?
Reese Witherspoon looked lovely, so did Rachel Weisz and Jennifer Aniston.
