I can't breathe and someone's not right there asking me to do something for them. Or, worse yet, telling me to do something for them!!

I'm grouchy right now, I freely admit.

I can't even have five minutes to sit here and browse the Dis and somebody's not going, "What're you doing?"

I'm just an overworked and overstressed mom and wife at the moment. Thanks for letting me vent a few minutes.

If you have a timer, or people that old enough to tell time. Tell them, in 10 minutes they can talk to you, but for ten minutes, to leave you alone.

When I was overstressed and the kids were little and didn't understand. I would have to wait until the dad got home, but when he did, I would go for a walk. It did really help.

On facebook I have a piece of flair that says "best way to get a kids attention is to sit down and get comfortable" no truer words have ever been written if you ask me!

BTDT - feel free to vent.

I think one of the hardest parts about being a wife/mother is it's hard to have some "me" time.

My kids are old enough now, that I joke with them and say "it's 9:00, I'm off mommy duty. If you are bleeding or the house is on fire, I'll work overtime, anything short of that you are on your own", then I go get a glass of wine and sit down at the computer.

I know, I'm a bad mom, but it's the only way I keep my sanity sometimes.

I am currently looking to buy a new car. Test drove a Renault spoke to the dealer and specifically told him not to call before 4pm as I was on night shift the next few days. Monday 2.45pm he rings so I told him you just woke me up, his reply well can we chat about the car my reply no I am asleap and put the phone down

That would so turn me off from buying a car from them. Can't follow a simple request and than he was told again he woke you up and he still wants to annoy ya. get over it buddy.

I wish I could say I had little ones that were doing the most of the aggravating but it's the one who should know better - my DH!

The proverbial straw that broke the camel's back came when I took ice cream out of the freezer. Now I most likely would have asked if anybody else wanted some but I never got the chance. No sooner did it hit the counter when he said, "When you make mine I want it in a plastic bowl."



That on top of not having one moment of peace the whole day just irked me.
