Wow. Looks like I've got a lot of movies to catch up on.

Looks like a total of 8 Nominations for Milk! :cheer2:

STILL haven't seen it! We're waiting for it to come on HBO! I'm also rooting for Brad Pitt, awesome performance!!:cheer2:

I am going to have to go with Sean Penn over Brad Pitt. I thought Cate Blanchett was the best part of Benjamin Button, which overall I thought was only ok.

I know it's sacrilege, but Slumdog Millionaire deserves the Oscar. It's a shame, and I would love Milk to win only to send a political message, but I have been in love with Danny Boyle's movies (director) ever since trainspotting.

Why Don't they make good movies any more like...
The 10 Commandants

We need more wrath of god films. ::yes::

I haven't seen not a single one of the films listed. I can't even remember the last time was I in a movie theater but I can promise you it was to see something like Harry Potter or Ratatouille...:hyper: :hyper: :hyper: I'm such a child!

I want Milk to sweep. But then, I've not seen the others. :teeth:

Shouldn't this be the Ten Commandments? Or are you talking about an all-male flick?

After seeing/reading about all the Golden Globe nominations I was hoping Wall-E might've been the 2nd animated film to be nominated for Best Picture.

Here are my predictions:

BEST PICTURE
Slumdog Millionaire

BEST ACTRESS
Kate Winslet

BEST ACTOR
Sean Penn

BEST ADAPTED SCREENPLAY
Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo ::yes::

Hi everyone.
I think that it's very nice that the academy is giving Marisa Tomei a nomination...it proves it wasn't a fluke the first time!
