Are the Osbourne lights every evening at HS? We're going to be there Sunday Dec. 2nd which i believe is extra magic hours. Standard park admission correct?

Yes they are on each evening unless the park closes extra early (like 4pm or so). It is all part of admission.

I've been hearing about them and decided to look up a YouTube video. I watched it with my 3 year old daughter and she got very excited!!

The Osbourne lights are amazing - your family will really love them. If you are there when they do the 'flip of the switch' - it will be mobbed with people, but the crowds clear out quickly....if you are there with kids the crowds may be worth it as first lighting is amazing to watch as all the lights turn on. Its actually pretty spectacular.

Any tips on how to get a great picture with a point and shoot Power Shot?
It's a really nice little camera. Any detailed tips on settings would be greatly appreciated. I know it's a hard shot.

I've seen countless pictures on this board and either the people or the lights are blurred. How do you get a perfect, clear shot?

Actually, a point and shoot Power Shot is what I own and all I do is turn off the flash and hold the camera steady - no special setting.

They start this Friday, there's actually a meet and live stream by Studios Central. I'll be there, the Osborne Lights are my favorite.

So excited! I got to see them last year on my November trip (girls only) and we are headed to the World today. I can't wait for my DS and DH to experience this!!

A YouTube video can not possibly do them justice. They are truly spectacular. Be sure to grab one of those cocktails with the glowing ice. It enhances the appreciation.
