I keep hearing about how crowded it can be. Can you go DURING Fantasmic?

Seems like it would be less crowded then.

We went last year one time just after it opened for the night - big mistake; it was really crowded then. We waited about an hour and went back and it was a nice. That was during Fantasmic. i don't remember when the light are turned on, but they stay on until the park closes.

Gotta share my caveat about going during Fantasmic (been there, done that). Watch your timing on leaving Osborne Lights. One time, I'd made the mistake of trying to leave just as Fantasmic was letting out and everyone from there was trying to get to the Osborne Lights. Now I know how salmon feel trying to swim upstream!

Yes we went and the line wrapped around the park...it wasn't too bad

We tried to go on a Sat on our trip last year and we could not even get in the park, so this year we are going to try to go on a Wed night.
So how long does Fantasmic last??? What time is the best to get there for the lights??? Do they turn the lights on at 6:30?????
