Osborne Lights?

Hello everyone,
Does anyone know when the lights get turned on? Also, does it snow the whole time? I want to be there for the lights tuning on an I think my little one will love the "snow." Thanks in advance!

They get turned on sometime between 6-6:15.

It does snow the whole time - it's just a machine that pumps out fake flakes and I believe it's done from the top of the buildings. It may be on and off throughout the night, but if the lights are dancing, it's snowing. We didn't notice the snow much at the ground level but if you look up, you can see it in the lights.

The Osborne Family Christmas Lights are turned on this year at Disney Hollywood Studios on Saturday, Nov 8th.

According to the WDW website the Osborne lights start on Friday Nov 7th.
The snow is not snow that would build up on the pavement or etc. It's more like small soap pellets but it doesn't make your clothes spot or be wet.
