Osborne Lights Question

We are going to DS on Dec.10. The park closes at 6:00. The Disney website says that the Osborne Lights starts at 6:00. Will Disney let us stay in the park later to see the lights?

My guess is they have a private party that night. I doubt you would be able to stay late to view the lights. I could be wrong.

I was there last year when DHS closed early for the Pop Warner party. The Lights were not turned on before the park closed. Most guests left the park prior to 6:00 and I recall walking through the empty streets when we left from the JTA area.

I was there one time that night, the Pop Warner kids actually started arriving earlier, ToT and RnR were very crowded late afternoon.

On the Disney website, they do show Osborne Lights on 12/9 & 12/11, but it is not shown for 12/10.

Edit - I was just looking on the Pop Warner site - the party is officially 8:00 to 12:00 so maybe they will not arrive early.

Thanks, I switched us to Sunday. I lost my fastpass for TSM but at least we can see the Osborne Lights.
