Osborne Lights mugs..Anyone know?

When we were at the Osborne lights last week I noticed they sell mugs with lights in them. Are they refillable mugs? And if so where are they refillable at? Anyone know the cost?

As a side note, I seen someone in our resort with one and he refilled it there. So, I am just curious.

Please no debates, we bought our refillable mug at POFQ and ONLY filled it at POFQ!

I am 99% sure that they are not refillable. I purchased one on Thanksgiving for $8.00 (without the hot cocoa). If you get it filled with the Hot Chocolate it is $10.00. I really like the mug and the actual Osborne lights are spectacular. Way better than they were in previous years.

Aren't you all glad I work at home! Here's photos of the mug. This one is from last year, but they are the same 2004 and 2005 only had the date changed. Didn't look close enough to see if they added "Dancing" to the title on the mug, but it's the same design. We didn't get this year as we have 2004 & 2005, and two is enough. I do love drinking out of it with the lights blinking!!

Those mugs are cute, but I hope they took Stitch off this year's. I'm not sure why he's featured so prominently!

DD checked them out and said it was still Stitch. She's usually observant. I sent her too look at them and tell me if they were a different picture than the one's we already had and she said they were the same.

2004 was the year that the new Stitch attraction opened and they had they HUGE inflatable STITCH outside of MK - that was why I figured they had it on the mug that year - but it is time to take him off!

I got the regular holiday mug (not the light up one) at the Studios last year. Usually the drink/popcorn carts around the hat are a good place to check.

They had CMs walking around the Streets of America with mugs w/hot choc. I only saw them during Osborne Lights.

Just bought one Saturday, and yes, Stitch is on it. I only saw them over in NY street area, they were $10 filled with hot chocolate.

I almost bought the mug at MGM but I didn't mostly because I didn't want stitch on it. Not that I don't like him. I did buy one in Aug and this past trip last week at Epcot from the refreshment post before Canada coming from The Land. I Also chose no to get mug in MGM because it looked smaller than the one I got in epcot. The one in Epcot is not a christmas mug it was 11.29 + tax w/ or w/out drink in it.

I have quite a variety of mugs at home, including 2 of the light-up ones from previous years' Osborne Lights. This year I bought the regular holiday mug with hot chocolate for $4.50.

None of the souvenir mugs you buy in the parks are intended for refills at the resorts.

I love my Osborne mug!! I even took it to work today and let the lights run.
Talk about getting looks from co-workers!
