Osborne Lights in HS

I currently have an ADR at Mama Melrose's for 7:50pm, and a fp+ for Star Tours from 5:45 to 6:45....if I do the ride right at 5:45, will that give me enough time to get a good spot for the Lights and still make it to dinner at 7:50? I was thinking lights go on at 7, right? and then we can eat and walk around on our way out since the park closes at 8.

It really just depends on how you want to experience it. I know lots of people that only need 10-15 min at the lights to feel like they've "done it". So I would say you are probably ok.

That will give you plenty of time. You really don't need to find a spot to see the lights as you just walk around the Streets of America to view the lights. If you want to be there when they turn on the lights they do a little show. I think the longest we have spent looking at the lights is about an hour.

When we were there there 2 years ago, the lights came on around 6.

we went last year with friends and the lights came on at 6p. We then walked around for about a half hour looking at all the buildings, then went to the beer cart, got a beer and sat at the end of the street for about an hour listening to the Christmas music. Would go back this year but just got home from Food and Wine, and will be here in May. Maybe next year Christmas time.

Lights go on at dusk, which is around 6 give or take. Unless you are going Thanksgiving week or Christmas week, you shouldn't need a FP+ for Star Tours.
