Hi,
okay, i have asked you guys before about if we should go see the osborne lights for our upcoming short trip to disney and everyone said yes...
here is my dilemma...
we're only going three nights, one for CP in epcot, one for MVMCP, and the other night is when we arrive. so we could go to OL the night we arrive, but our flight doesn't get in until 3 pm. so i figure after waiting for buses to get to the hotel to check in, blah, blah, we wouldn't get to MGM until 5 pm. so that leaves about enough time to do one, maybe two rides and the OL before the park closes at 8 pm. at this point, consider i can't change our flight...everything going in earlier is sold out...
so $67 a ticket (i think is what it is now) for about three hours in the park...is it worth it? :confused3
if it makes any difference, we went to MGM in 2005, so i don't feel like i would be missing anything if i didn't go to that park..i would just really be going for the lights...
thanks :)

isnt it only a few dollars mor to add a day to the three day ticket? I get to buy mine at Shades of Green adn the difference between 7 and 5 day is a wopping 2.50

Not at the THREE DAY level.

A 3-Day MYW adult ticket costs about $200 (or about $67 per day.)

If you really want to see them it might be worth the money. Personally, I would probably not want to spend that sort of money just for the lights and a few rides.

Could you take the boat from Epcot to MGM on your Epcot night, just for a quick peek at the lights? If you have a hopper you won't have to pay extra and it would only take an hour and a half or two hours out of your Epcot evening.

If you have seen the lights in 2005,there is no need to spend that kind of money for 3 hours. The OL,IMHO,just aren't worth it anymore.

We are only going for one day (I'm a florida resident and will be in the area for Thanksgiving anyway). I plan on doing exactly what is mentioned above. We are going to the first showing of CP and then heading to MGM to catch the Osbourne lights and Fantasmic.

after a certain hour you can enter MGM just to see the OL. At least there was a time that it was that way. If I were you I would check it out before paying so much for a ticket. I love the OL but I am not sure I would spend $67 to see them.
