Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone had previous experience with this issue. I was planning to visit the Studios on December 16th. I understand that the Osborne Lights are supposed to start at 6 PM, and then Fantasmic at 7 PM, the same night. IS it possible to view both of these shows on the same night?? While still being able to get a good Fantasmic seat? The first time I saw Fantasmic I got to the theater 90 minutes before the show started and 65% of the stadium was already filled, but this was in June. And even though this is for December I don't want to risk missing Fantasmic... does anyone have any tips, or input related to this?

The Osbourne Lights aren't really a show ,you just walk through them at your own pace. The lights are all over on the Streets of America (formerly New York Street.) At that time in Dec. I'd think they'd come on a little earlier as they light up when it gets dark.

You could secure yourself a seat for Fantasmic and only have to get to the theater about 20 mins. prior to the show by doing a Fantasmic Dining Package.

Hi! The best way is to see Fantasmic and then walk through Osborne Lights while most of the crowd is heading out of the park. It makes for a really nice ending to the evening. My family has always loved the feeling of strolling through the lights while the park is empting ... very Christmassy with the "snow" and the music -- and knowing it won't be such a wait for busses! The CMs don't rush you and you have plenty of time to enjoy the lights.
Have a great time!

We saw Fantasmic and then walked thru the Osborne Lights before leaving the park. We had no trouble seeing both in one night.

Last year I walked into Fantasmic 10Min before show had no problem getting a seat. Then after show went to see Osbourn Lights it was wonderful. This was on Dec.11 last year. So don't think you will have a problem at all. PS I did not have the Fantasmic Dinner Package either.

My plan is this:

FDP with dinner at Mama Melrose's at 4pm. After dinner, we will try to see Osborne lights and then see Fantasmic at 7pm. If the Osbourne lights are too crowded, we will try to see them after Fantasmic.

This is great news, I had planned on seeing the lights after Fantasmic, but wasn't sure that they'd be on as the official disney website says that they run from 6-7pm.
