Osborne Light Start Date history?

Hi all,

Don't usually ask "prediction" type questions since the answer usually is "who knows" but curious to see if anyone knows what has happened historically.

Likely heading to WDW during the one week that separates Halloween and X-mas (gotta love being able to celebrate both those holidays in a 7 days span . . .) Last year I beleive Osborne started Friday, Nov. 7 (so we were able to catch it right at the beginning). Anyone remember how early it's started in past years? Could it be as early as Friday the 6th this year? As the first Friday in November gets earlier I wonder if it's more likely to get pushed back a week. Tried searching for historical dates but couldn't find anything.

Good tip - hadn't connected the two. Unfortunately, we're leaving the afternoon of the first party!!!!!

I think there is a good possibility it could start on the 6th. I may have to factor this in to my plans as well, we will be there from 10/31 - 11/7.

It should start Nov 6. It usually starts the day before the Wine and Dine race, because they have the lights on for the runners

Sure hope it starts the 6th. We booked Oct 30 to Nov 8 hoping to get Halloween and Christmas lights in this time. We missed it by a few days last trip.

I was hoping the 6th too (which we be the "same" as last year. Just wasn't sure if there was a particular thing it's been synched to such as the marathon or parties. I guess we'll see. The marathon timing does make sense if they usually do something for the runners.
