What time of day do the lights go on?

We are going the week of December 12-18 and will be at DHS on the 14th and 17th but have dinner reservations on both days and now I'm worried that we won't see the lights.

We have a 7:20 'Ohana res on one day and a 4:25 Hollywood & Vine with a 6:30 Fantasmic on the other day. DHS is open till 8:00 on both days

How long will it take us to get from the lights to the front of DHS to Poly?

Lights go on at dusk - say around 6:00 in December.

There are large, slow moving crowds when they are first turned on so plan on it taking 30 minutes to walk through the lights. Then add another 10-15 minutes to get to the front of HS. Then another hour to get to the Poly if using Disney transportation. Tight. Very tight.
