What time do they come on at night?

sorry cant help with the time but they are fantastic to see, I was amazed and it snows!!

I think the earliest is 6pm.

Just had a little look at my timetable handout from Hollywood Studios from last December. It lists the lights at coming on from dusk till 8 pm. From what I remember when we visited from 10-21st December they came on at 6 pm.

Wonderous lights that also come on in time to Christmas music. Google it and have a look at the photos.

They were originally from a Dad (surname Osbourne) who started decorating his house for his daughter. The collection grew and grew till it was too big and Disney bought them.

They are displayed in the Streets of America part of Hollywood Studios, the whole area is just a mass of colourful lights which are displayed to the sound of festive music and snow fall.

They came on around 6pm last time we were there (2007).

The switch on is something amazing to see, too.
