We got to see this display for the first time tonight and was there when they were turned on. It is an overwhelming display that words alone do not do justice for and the added touch of "snow" falling down was icing on the cake. We also enjoyed the Christimas edition of the Stars and Motor Cars parade as well. Needless to say, this should be in your plans to see when at WDW.

We saw them last year and can't wait to see them this year. I love the new location of the lights - it is so cool seeing a city all decorated like that!

Is there snow falling throughout the evening or just at the beginning when they turn the lights on?

The commentators at WDWToday.com said that since they moved the lights away from the now-defunct residential area (Hollywood backlot), it seemed way too gaudy and that it crossed the "Liberace Line" where even Liberace wouldn't put that many lights that close together.

They had heard rumors that the display this year was supposed to be improved with the lights less densely packed than last year. Did Disney succeed at this?
