Osborn Lights

We're making our first December trip this year. I've read a lot about the Osborn Lights at DHS but I'm trying to understand how to work them in to our itinerary. DHS closes at 8:00 on Dec 8 and Fantasmic! is at 8:30. Will we be able to see the lights from 8:00-9:00 (skipping Fantasmic! this trip)? Also, do you have any tips that we should know about?

1. Unlikely.
2. See them at 6-7PM, or so, that night, or on another night when the park is open later.
