I've been away from my PC for a bit but I'm back and just found this thread. I guess if I had to pick a theme for my tree it's probably country. Anything Christmas is okay in my book (or Disney for that matter). I'm just so excited to see what comes!

I haven't seen any requests from my exchangee yet but I have some great ideas anyway.

I am all for this. . . how do we get assigned to someone. This is awesome. I don't have anything in particular for my tree, but I sure like Disney.

For me my preferences would be anything Disney. My favorite characters are chip/dale, belle, mickey & minnie, Tigger, and most everyone else really. There's just about all kinds of ornaments on our big tree.

I have two trees with a few smaller ones around. I have a complete mish mash on all of them except for my Georgia Bulldog tree. LOL

I do a mixture of ornaments,dried flowers, ribbon, cloth etc but each ornament is unique and I do not have two of the same. (well, except for the plain balls I do in a big group to help add depth))

I am up for anything. This is a great exchange and I am excited to participate.

Just in case you did not see my first post of what kind of ornaments I like and you needed some ideas on what to get-(here they are). And If you did, I am sorry for the second posting of it. My tree is done all in disney ornaments! I love Mickey, Minnie, Lilo and Stitch. I also really like Angel ones too! It would be cool if there was an Angel Minnie Mouse one! But I know what ever I get I will love it!

Mailed off my ornament today......it has to go ALL THE WAY across the country....but it should be there in three days. Got it and a little something extra at the Disney Christmas store at DTD a few weeks ago.

Thank you MerryPoppins! I absolutely love it! I especially love the Native American theme and got a little choked up when reading the pamphlet that came with it. Right now I have it on the stand by my computer as I haven't put the tree up yet and I'm going to keep it out all year to remind me of what it represents "strength, resiliency and conviction". And as senator Haney said "standing one's ground".

For all the rest of you, the ornament is put out by The Friends of the Mansion, the non-profit group that works to preserve and restore the Gubintorial mansion is Oklahoma. The ornament depicts the statue that stands on the top of the dome of the state capitol. It is a Native American holding a lance and shield and has a 24carat gold finish....beautiful!
