I don't have enough posts to send (or answer) a pm so I'll reply here if that's ok.

:rotfl2: I really like it :) I've been surfing to see if there is anything else I need to know before our trip. I'm secretly hoping to find some kickass trick of the trade that will add more awesomeness to the vacation lol!

Thanks for checking on me, that was awfully sweet :)

Well get that post count up woman! :rotfl2:

What are you interests? Have you thought about Cirque? The cheap seats all the way in the back are actually the best! Mini golf? DisneyQuest?

I just bumped the planning link to the front page. There's lots of good info there too. :goodvibes

Well, I didn't know about the needing to book meals far in advance so when I called a couple weeks ago we didn't have a lot of luck in getting much. We were fortunate enough to find someplace to dine on my birthday (March 19) at Epcot. We have dinner reservations for the Rose and Crown at 7:15. I am hoping we can get lucky enough to sit outside to catch the illuminations show. *fingers crossed* We also got reservations for the Spirit of Aloha dinner show :woohoo:

I don't even have Excel to create a spreadsheet! I do plan my days usually, but as to specific potty break times, no, I don't go that far. Do I try to work in "down time" when I know that we will need a chance to scope out a potty? :rolleyes1 Guilty.

I love helping others to plan their park days. My coworkers all know that I love to map out their days and so far, not one complaint. :thumbsup2

If you have your heart set on a certain resturant, get there the minute they open, and tell them you are a walk up! They only hold reservations for 20 minutes, and you will get a seat within 30 minutes, usually!

The trick is to get there a few minutes before they open!

Oh and for EPCOT, my favorite place is in Morocco! Never a line! And its the most unique place in the World Showcase, IMO! (You can have Italian, Mexican, and Chineese at home!)

We also love to eat in Morocco and I agree with Orlando Mike, we have always been able to walk in there and be seated very quickly (not that I ever go without ressies--I am one of those planners too:lmao: I freaked out some friends who thought they were planners last year becasue they didn't know ANYONE scheduled in pool time:rotfl: Whay wouldn't you:confused3 ). One of the draws of Marakesh in Morrocco is that it is a rare quiet and uncrowded corner of WDW--very relaxing place for a meal (have never seen every table occupied).

I also recomend booking lunches rather than dinners. It is much easier to get in for lunch. Since the parks tend to be at their most crowded aorund lunch time we find that to be an ideal time to take a long break and enjo a good meal. Then we can snack our way through dinner on all the fantstic little munchies:lovestruc found throughout the parks (sweet pretzel in Norway here I come:yay: )

We do this too-we call it "dinch"-not lunch, not dinner. It allows us a break during a hot afternoon and we have all evening to walk that meal off!

Another voice to add for the enjoyment of Morocco! ::yes::

We like Rose and Crown too, though. You may very well be able to have an outside table. Arrive a bit early and ask sweetly. Display your birthday badge prominently. :teeth: The CMs there usually are quite accommodating (if their reservation line up allows).

I've heard that recently they are allowing indoor guests to go out to the patio area when Illuminations is on... not sure how you'd feel about that. I'd prefer to have a table out there...

It's a good idea to have some (small?) plan for the park of the day. Have an idea what is there, where it is and what you really want to do. You can then have a bit of structure to the day and will be better able to see the must do things. ::yes::

Have a wonderful time! :teeth:

Stay away from this woman! She plans potty breaks! :rotfl2:

Seriously! Expect a spread sheet anytime!

And what is the problem with that???? hmmmm??? really - now - is that fair to all us OCD, ADD, in need of LOT's of attention planners??????? HMM??

We have dinner reservations for the Rose and Crown at 7:15.
If I may suggest the cheese platter??? it is yummy! And add my vote for Morocco - the food is very flavorful, not spicey. My hunny doesn't like hot spicing, but enjoys the food at Morocco very much! Plus - there is a belly dancer....she makes some moves that are very un-Disney-like....

It's ok, spreadsheets are our friends - he's just jealous 'cus he doesn't have the planning knack

Umm - Hadley - I think they might be cold by the time they get to you....I'm not sure they would ship well!

Hey! No talking smack about the spread sheet!
I AGREE!!!

Can you keep a secret? My SIL called 3 days ago, she wants to bring the family down....

Next Week! :scared1:

Needless to say, I have a spreadsheet going! :rotfl2:

I have a BAD case of OCD (ask anyone) and I'm SO anal retentive it's not even funny. I seriously get sick enjoyment out of cleaning, organizing and planning.

Yet every time we go to DLR or WDW we don't plan much. It's the only time in our lives I swear, where we just show up and start our day. What happens happens. I guess when I go on a vacation, I don't want to be tied down to times and restrictions.

You want to come enjoy cleaning and organizing our house? We'll let you have all the enjoyment you can handle!:rotfl2:

Funny you say that, there is actually a way to get Certified in Organizing. CPO's. Couldn't believe it when I found the website. People actually PAY other people to come in and organize their homes/lives.

PAY? I don't want to pay someone to do that! I just want them to come in and do it!

Maybe we could work out some sort of "in kind" payment. ;)
