Orlando Weather

Been checking the weather for our upcoming trip, everyday shows thunderstorms. Is anyone there now to give a weather update? I just hope it's not going to rain all week when we are there. I realize there tends to be some afternoon spinkles, but i hope it's not a total washout. we want sunshine!!!

We are still in our rainy season so you will still get thunder showers somewhere every day. It just depends on where and when. It will not be a total washout. When it rains here in Fl, for the most part, it does't rain all day. You can get 75% of the day with sunshine.... the rest will be rain.. usually in the afternoon/evening hours...

We went in the Summer and at times it was very sunny and others raining very heavy and there was thunder and lightning but still every morning we checked the weather on T.V

It depends on when you'll be there. The 60% chances dont necessarily mean all day wash outs. It is probably a cold front that will be pushing through. Its also 10 days out and that forecast will most likely change a few times before then.

A week before we arrived last Sunday, the forecast was showing thunderstorms every day. By the time we arrived, it was down to three or four days. In reality, we got sprinkled on once or twice and only had one rainy afternoon. Just pack ponchos and umbrellas and go for it.

It's Florida. There's a chance of thunderstorms here just about every day of the year. Now that it's cooling off a bit you don't get those afternoon monsoons that are an added summertime attraction around here.
