Hey guys!

My boyfriend & our families are planning a Disney Villa Holiday next year & we were thinking about going in May.

The only times i've ever been were in Oct & Nov.

What is the weather like early-mid May? Is it too hot or bearable? Are there thunderstorms? & what are the Parks like? Too crowded? Managable?

My boyfriend hasn't been in years & i haven't been since 2004! Shocking.

Thanks! x

we went end of april beginning of may this year, weather high 80s low 90s all 2 weeks, not too humid, no thunderstorms, only rained once while we were at epcot for around 10mins then it was sunshine again. Parks not too busy queue times around 1 hour or less.

Early May this year was around 90F most days.

Crowds were busier than September-November but less than summer.

Florida is beautiful in May. It's our favourite time to go.

We were there in May and we only had rain one afternoon and the temps remained around late 80's and some days did hit 90's.

Depending on if you miss children's school holidays you'll also have reasonable crowd levels also.

This is great news! We are there until the 13th May, I can't wait to have some warmth! :goodvibes

Thanks for replying everyone!

Sounds like it's going to be pretty hot but i don't mind the heat personally :confused3 just a good excuse to get soaked on the water rides! ;)

My parents said the 7th-21st May sounds good enough.

I was meant to go last Oct/Nov but had to cancel as my Dad broke his leg quite badly. :(

Ohhh wicked! Where are you staying? Hotel? Villa? :yay:

May 3rd - 17th for us :) Thought May seemed like the perfect time too

We've been twice in May - last year was lovely, only one downpour which coincided with our meal at CP so we missed it :)

Crowd levels were slightly busier than on our previous May visit, but still only a couple minutes wait on most rides (especially if you are up and out early!) :goodvibes
