Orlando & WDW with kids

We are going to Orlando for the 2nd time this year but only me and my hubby. We would really like to go next year and take the kids but it's so expensive!!

Has anyone got any tips on how to make it cheaper for 2 adults, a 13, yo 12 yo and 3 yo?

We normally go on a package deal and stay on International Drive, with no car.

I know it gets a slating on here sometimes but TCD is the cheapest by far. If you are happy to drive I would recommend a package of flights, car and either a 2 bed townhouse or 3 bed villa. Also controversially, you will not get a low price unless you travel termtime. As for dates Late Jan to mid March is cheaper and cooler, with late April to Late May a bit more expensive but warmer weather.

If you do a few spoof bookings on TCD website, it will give you a good indication.

As for park tickets, dont try and do everywhere but settle on what you really want to do as these can add up to almost as much as the holiday price if you go for both Disney multi visit passes and Orlando flextickets.

Use TCD and rent a townhouse through them. We did it last year with a 15, 13 and 10 year old and the 3 bed townhouse was superb in Lake Berkley. We did hire a car and it made the holiday even better. Good luck!!

Try and get some free child places.

If you can go when the crowds are low at disney that helps keeps the cost down.

I've been in November twice and for 2 adults & 1 child i got a package deal
with flights, hotel 3*, transfers for 1195.00. If your children go to a school
that lets them take two weeks off during school time, you'll won't have too much of problem finding a good package deal.
