Orlando Theme Parks Hurricane Update Thread (Direct list of closures related to Disney on page 10)

I'm at the grand now, lifeguards here said the courtyard pool should be opening in a couple of hours. Another cast member spoke about trying to get the monorail up and running, I'm a bit suspicious of that one though.

What would be the point of running the monorail if parks aren't open? I guess I could see them running a few to test the system...but not opening it to guests.

Not on this update but Disney Springs is supposedly opening at 5:00PM today.

There is no point. Monorail cast scheduled for today have been told not to report. Contemporary is still sealed at both ends, no train movement.

Anyone staying on disney property have any recent pictures to post? I hope my flight is still on for tomorrow morning.....

Not a clue. I was just reporting what a cast member told me.

Our flight was cancelled - we can't fly out until Monday - so looks like our vacation was extended

Quiet pool open at Poly as of 3. Working on main pool. Springs open at 5. Busses at 6.

We've decided to leave today and just lose the day at the parks. Got a good offer to stay tonight but its just not the right thing to do. Bummer of a trip this year
